Fractal Geometry and Stochastics 6 (FGS 6) 2018
On the 30 Sept.-5 Oct., Mounika Rapolu took part in the Fractal Geometry and Stochastics 6 conference. FGS 6 is an international conference that has grown into a leading platform that connects researchers working in fractal geometry and related fields. Mounika Rapolu has been selected to present a poster on “Multifractal, Fractal and Lacunarity analysis of the three-dimensional cerebral vasculature of the mouse brain in vivo”.
Single-pixel camera - Seminar
Julia Sudyka was invited by dr Arkadiusz Kosior to give an one-hour talk on recent progress made in context of novel imaging systems developed in group of Prof. Wojtkowski. During the seminar of Atomic Optics department she presented the project concerning Single-pixel camera.
Microsoft Build 2019
Dawid Borycki (member of Wojtkowski team) attended Microsoft Build 2019. The purpose of this visit was to learn new research techniques related to signal and image processing.
OSA Biophotonics Congress 2019
Professor M. Wojtkowski and his team participated in the conference Biophotonics Congress: Optics in the Life Sciences, organized by the Optical Society of America. This event provided researchers with the opportunity to discuss the design, fabrication, and application of biomedical optical technologies for life sciences.
SPIE Photonics West 2019
SPIE Photonics West, the leading global event for the photonics and laser industries took place in San Francisco in early February 2019. Attendees enjoyed a week full of cutting-edge research (over 5,000 presentations) and courses, two world-class exhibitions (1,300 companies), a robust industry program, and plenty of networking opportunities.
EOSAM 2018
The EOS Biennial Meeting (EOSAM), a major European event for the European optics and photonics community, was held in the congress center of TUDelft in Delft Netherlands, October 8-12, 2018. Over 400 attendees took part in the event and over 350 interesting presentations were held on optics and photonics. Leading experts from the optical field (e.g. Zeiss company) tutored short courses about practical information on optics design or optimal data processing.
MSCA 2018 - Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Annual Conference
On the 1st and 2nd October, Agnieszka Tadrzak, Patrycja Nitoń, Monika Kuczyńska-Wydorska took part in the MSCA 2018 - Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Annual Conference organized in Vienna, under the Austrian EU Presidency. The aim of the conference was to discuss strategic objectives in the EU research and education policy areas. This two-day conference was divided into: lectures, panel discussions and workshops.
Biosensors 2018
The aim of the trip was the participation in 28th Anniversary World Congress on Biosensors (Biosensors 2018) taking place in Miami, Florida, USA. The conference is organized every two years by Elsevier and it is the largest and prestigious event related to new achievements and applications in the field of biosensors.
Laser Technology Symposium 2018
The purpose of the trip was to participate in “Laser Technology Symposium 2018” conference. The conference was devoted to the latest results in laser physics and technology developments, as well as to lasers’ applications: in spectroscopy, medicine, military and scientific uses. Jakub Bogusławski presented a talk entitled “Active mode-locking using graphene modulators”.
The 159. seminar of the International Center of Biocybernetics: Optics in Neuromonitoring
The aim of this visit was to participate in the 159th seminar of the International Center of Biocybernetics: Optics in Neuromonitoring, where Dawid Borycki delivered the talk entitled as: Monitoring time-of-flight-resolved temporal dynamics of optical field using interferometric near-infrared spectroscopy (iNIRS).
