Be-Optical Final conference 2019
On the 3rd and 4th of July 2019, Piotr Węgrzyn and Mounika Rapolu attended the Be-Optical Final conference organized by and within the facilities of Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization. Topics covered by the conference included Biophotonics, Biomedical Imaging, Cardiac Electrophysiology, and Optogenetics. This conference gave them an opportunity to learn about the new image analysis techniques in the biomedical imaging field. Abstracts of Mounika and Piotr were selected for oral presentations. Mounika delivered the presentation on “In-vivo longitudinal imaging of glioblastoma (GBM) tumor in mouse brain microvasculature using 800nm OCT system”. Piotr presented the “Two implementations of Spatiotemporal Optical Coherence Manipulation (STOC)” topic. The talk gave an opportunity to interact with the audience and some of the feedback from them gave a result in interesting ideas for the forthcoming experiments. Participants had also an opportunity to visit a few laboratories at Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization and discuss their research. This additionally shed light on some interesting ideas for the experimental setup.
