CREATE lectures series: Prof. dr. Jochen Blumberger

On the 22 – 23 February, 2018 Prof. dr. Jochen Blumberger, from the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University College London, UK came to IPC. Prof. Blumberger delivered seminar composed of 2 parts:

• “Inorganic Interfaces, Organic Materials and Energy Converting Enzymes: The Power of Computational Chemistry”,
• “The Art of Leading a Research Group”

All researchers and PhD students employed at IPC were invited to participate in this seminar – the seminar was attended by approx. 70 people.

Prof. Blumberger visited selected laboratories and research groups, including department of the ERA Chair holder – Professor Wojtkowski. The aim of these visits was to familiarize him with IPC PAS, establish contacts with synergic groups supporting the ERA Chair holder team and discuss on required changes at IPC to improve our performance.
